Restoration and protection, not just a new coat of color.
A deck takes the worst of the weather, and after a few Ohio winters it goes grey, green and splintery. This is a restoration job, not a quick coat of color: we strip and wash off the old finish, algae and grime, sand and prep the wood properly, then stain it to an even, rich finish that actually protects the wood underneath. Where boards, railings or stairs have rotted or come loose, we repair or rebuild them first, because staining over a soft board just hides the problem. Done right, that stain holds up for roughly 3–5 years, depending on the wood, the stain and how much sun and weather that deck actually sees.
BeforeAfter
Years of Ohio weather leave a deck grey, green and tired. We strip it back, wash it clean and bring it back to life, this one stripped and restained to a warm, even, clean-again brown. Same deck, same bench, same step, one real Core Exterior job. Drag the slider to see it.
Both photos are the same real Core Exterior Services deck, before and after.
