Restoration and long-term protection, not just a wash.
A wash gets the moss and stains off. Sealing is what keeps them from coming back, and what actually protects the concrete underneath. We wash the surface clean first, moss and algae lifted out of the low spots, oil and organic stains treated, then apply a professional sealer that defends against moisture penetration, cracking, spalling, freeze-thaw damage and staining. That is roughly 5–7 years of real protection on driveways, walkways, patios and pavers, not just a one-day shine that fades by spring.
Unsealed concrete and pavers soak up water like a sponge. Freeze that water in an Ohio winter and it expands, which is exactly how cracking, spalling and pitting start. A proper sealer makes the surface water-repellent, so water beads up and runs off instead of sinking in, and that is what actually stops the freeze-thaw cycle from tearing the surface apart year after year.

This walkway had years of moss built into the joints and the low spots. The wash is step one, lifting all of that back out to bare, clean concrete.
